Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist
Location: Hospital
Department: Laboratory
FTE: 0.5
Shifts:
- Varying shifts including rotating weekends
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited MLT/MT program or equivalent
- ASCP or NCA certification
- One year lab experience preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy and lab functions
- Collect and/or process specimens sent out to reference labs
- Maintain lab equipment and complete quality assurance duties
- Complete duties in a manner consistent with all applicable State and Federal regulations
