Phlebotomist
Location: Clinic/Hospital
Department: Laboratory
FTE: 0.5
Shifts:
- Day and evening shifts
- Every second to third weekend
Qualifications:
- Completion of certified phlebotomy program, medical assistant program, or at least 3 months experience as phlebotomist
- Arterial drawing experience preferred
Position Responsibilities:
- Collect and or process specimens including blood, urine, stool, and throat obtained from patients
- Maintain adequate inventory of routine supplies in area
- Properly mix and label tubes after blood drawing
- Assist with training of new employees
