Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Elton Hills Drive NW
Department: Physical Therapy
FTE: 1.0
Shifts:
- Weekdays
- Day shifts
- Five 8-hour shifts would include Monday-Friday varied between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Graduate of an Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by a national accrediting agency
- Current Minnesota license
- Inpatient acute and Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
Position Responsibilities:
- Perform Physical Therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapist.
- Develop/restore function under Physical Therapist POC
- May assist with program or protocol development, may assist with nurses or staff training
- Inpatient acute and outpatient orthopedic treatment, independently or co-treatment with Physical Therapist
- Travel between hospital and outpatient setting
